Congratulations on your decision to adopt one of our Bengal babies.
In agreeing to adopt one of our kittens from Abacus Bengals, you also agree to the following.
None of our kittens can be resold, traded or given to any other person or persons without first contacting the breeder.
Written permission must be given to re-home kitten/cat if unable to take said cat/kitten back.
This kitten cannot be neglected or abused.
Kitten/cat must be proved clean water and premium cat food that must be offered 2-3 times a day. Water must be available 24-7 and changed daily.
Foods that are recommend is Blue Buffalo (Wild Kitten) or
Royal Canin (Baby) or (Mother Cat).
All my kittens are weaned with Royal Canin Baby Cat and can evaporated milk with water.
We also leave dry food down in a shallow bowl, with a shallow bowl of water.
Dry clean bedding and shelter must be provided for kitten/cat.
If containment is preferred a 10 X 6 kennel with a roof and heated house, with a large bed should be provided.
Also toys such as balls and cat toys will be provided in containment area.
These cats need lots of human contact as with any cat they can become feral if ignored for a long period of time.
I don't recommend declawing your Bengal, as the amputation procedure and is a painful mutilation. Causes much pain for a substantial amount of time. It’s not uncommon for infections to set in as the poor cat uses its litter box.
You agree to give lots of love and salmon tuna and mackerel and yummy snacks for treats.
You agree to make him/her a part of your family, with everyday activities.
These cats can be trained to walk on a leash, some enjoy car rides also and daily activities.
Being with their owners is what can make a kitten become a lifelong loyal loving companion.
This cat cannot be sold to any pet stores or research facility or any similar facility or business.
In signing this contract I agree to make my new cat/kitten a part of our family.
Any questions or problems please contact me 24/7 anytime.
Please leave a message if there is no answer and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Any adopted cat/kitten must be seen by a veterinarian within 72 hours for a general health check and snap test for your piece of mind if for any reason this cat/kitten will be returned a health certificate must be issued by a licensed veterinarian also."
If said cat or kitten is not examined within 72 hours health guarantee of 2 years against HCM or any genetically inherited life threatening disease will be null and void.
Your kitten has had vaccinations given by a licensed veterinarian who has health checked at them at least twice. Your new kitty has had Stools checked for parasites and wormed as preventive measure. All animals are healthy to the best of our knowledge and negative for parasites. We usually give Advantex plus to traveling kittens. Your new family member can pick up parasites from the ground fleas jump and 1 flea can lay thousands of eggs.
We recommend yearly fecal and health checkup and rabies and FVRCP boosters once a year to keep your kitty healthy.
We also recommend you keep your kitty safe inside or only allow out him/her out on a leash or inside a crate or screen room. Some Bengal’s have chewed thru screens we suggest reinforcing with welders wire. We look forward to hearing from you anytime with any questions. Email or call. We are here 24/7 for our animals and their families. We are available for the life of your pet God Willing!
Health is guaranteed by refund or reimbursement, with vets certification of any life threatening defect or congenital diseased. By a licensed veterinarian certifies.
